1. What is Home Care?
Home care is when a person prefers to stay at home but needs ongoing care that cannot easily be provided by family and friends alone. Home Care can be any combination of health care and support services provided in a person’s place of residence, including the following:

2. What makes Be Kind Health Care different from other Health Care Agencies?

The name speaks for the agency. Be Kind Health Care was established because the agency honestly believes the elderly, disabled individuals, children and families that are in need of medical or personal assistance deserves kindness, love and care. It was based on these premises that the agency was founded. This is the reason why the agency is available to serve clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call the agency you will speak with a live person, not an automated system. Your nurse will come out to see you if needed. The agency also provides transportation among other incentives for the Home Health Aide when needed. Your doctor will also be informed of your progress and changes in your condition. 3. What are the precise services that Be Kind Health Care Services can provide for me?

4. What are the qualifications for the staff that will be working with the clients?

• The Director of Nursing is a state Licensed Registered Nurse and a Mother. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Nursing; in addition she is co-owner of Be Kind Health Care Services. She has numerous certifications and many years of experience in Home Care, Hospital and Occupational Nursing. The Chief Executive Officer of the agency is a Social Worker, a Father and a person with over 20 years experience in medical, mental, forensic and psychiatric social work. He is also a co-owner with invested interest in the success of Be Kind Health Care Services. The entire agency's Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA's) have a minimum of a High School/GED, with many weeks of Training before given an assignment. Also, the entire agency’s CHHA's receive on-going in-service training to help them stay on top of the skills required to do the best job. In addition, all CHHA's from Be Kind Health Care Services are certified and licensed by the State of NJ and had their criminal background checked before issuance of said license. Finally each CHHA is assigned and placed under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse. All our Registered Nurses’ are licensed by the state of NJ and our office staff has proper credentials.


5. What do I do if I am having problems with my Home Health Aide, or the assigned Registered Nurse?

• It is normal to be worried or afraid. Be Kind Health Care Services understands that many elderly or disabled individuals are living alone in their apartments or homes. This is where Be Kind Health Care Services is different. In a situation where there is a concern or problem with the Home Health Aide or Nurse, Be Kind Health Care will keep the client report confidential. The Aide or the Nurse will be removed form the assigned patient; an investigation that protects the identity of the client will be done by the administrator. Another qualified representative will be assigned immediately to replace the previous Home Health Aide or Nurse. Be Kind Health Care Services values the client and will do everything to provide them with integrity, love, care, and kindness. Should you experience any problems with any of the agency’s staff members, please call the office and your identity will be kept confidential. You will always feel safe with Be Kind Health Care Services.


6. Have you dealt with one of those Agencies that shuts their doors at 5pm, until 9am the following morning?

• This is where Be Kind Health Care Services is different. You can always call us at anytime 24 hours, 7 days a week. Be Kind Health Care Services' staff has always enjoyed talking to the client and will never turn the phones off. Call us when you need us and you will always receive the love, kindness and care that you deserve.


7. Can you help me if I am having problems in reaching my primary doctor or having financial problems or facing evictions or experiencing problems with my benefits?

• Be Kind Health Care Services is your home. When any problem arises, the entire team will work to help you resolve it. If needed, a social worker will be assigned to assist you and stay on the task until the problems are resolved. Welcome to the Agency of your dreams.


8. What about Confidentiality?

• The agency and all the staff working in Be Kind Health Care Services are required by the State of NJ and the Federal Mandate, to maintain and abide with client/patients confidentiality, under HIPEA. With Be Kind Health Care Services your confidentiality is guaranteed.


9. Do I have the right to request a particular Aide?

• The agency believes in, and will always up-hold equal employment opportunities for our employees. However, we do realize that at times clients have a preference. When feasible, and with no malice or disregard for law, all our clients' request will be evaluated thoroughly, and reasonable requests will be granted.
